Travian Thing

Way back last year, I got hook with this online real-time browser game along with my friends. Getting bored on facing this monitor almost whole day, I received one of some pop-ups on screen. Out of tedium, I've finally gave-in & got myself registered on one of those annoying pop-ups that most we get when browsing the web. This online thing which is considered as a browser game is named TRAVIAN.
I've never thought I'll be playing this game until these days. One thing I was surprised of is that such game does not need higher computer specs. As long you got an internet connection, you can start your game. But first, what is Travian? Travian is an multiplayer online browser-based real-time military strategy game. Originated in Germany & translated on other languages that is played by thousands of users worldwide.
As a start up, one has to indicate his/her alias or nickname. Then an email account is obviously in need prior to playing the game, which then need verification (you can just simply click the link on your received mail). Follow the password, which is used every time you'll log on. As you will be ask, choose from the three tribes, namely; Roman, Gaul or Teuton. Each tribe has its own known for. One need to choose from four (4) quadrants (North-East, North-West, South-East or South-West) for location of starter village. Additionally, one can choose randomly for both tribe & location as another option.
So here's what it would look like during registration prior to playing the game...
As you notice, the time on the mid-bottom of the shot is actually the count-down for the game to start. This is due taking the snap shot just how many hours the server will start. Actually there are lots of servers available to play. Click here to see for the list. It might be okay to play along with the people in your country (or area), but basing on our own experiences, we find it alittle advantage to play on other server with different time zones. Much more on the opposite time where our days are their nights. Hmmm, I guess it's too early for me to share you that. Anyway, back to the issue then, as you play a few days (or maybe weeks) your village overview might look somehow like this (below image). With few fields upgraded & some building made & few troops created.
Moreover, The travian world has an area of 800x800 fields, having 400x400 fields per quadrant, and one village would occupy one field. One account is capable of creating more villages, depending on resources availability as well as some requirements.
Try to visit some of the servers. Until recently, I (along with my friends) play speed server. A faster one which is three times (3x) the speed of ordinal server. When you try to click the homepage, it appears as 3X.
Post notes: Just in case you can't access usx, feel free to leave a comment or request stating your nickname, email add & i'll create one for you. Anyway passwords can be changed anytime. If you don't want to post your email add, just send your mail to my add. below (about me)... So let's do the Travian Thing!
